throughout the off-season to discuss the reasoning why he was kept, when other veteran players were cut, but is confident enough to know that he can make a smooth transition from the Tampa 2 zone coverage scheme that was run under the guidance of Monte Kiffin, to the more physically demanding bump-man coverage scheme that new defensive coordinator Jim Bates has implemented, but not arrogant enough to talk about it.

Josh Freeman should start if ready, or atleast that is what ESPN South blogger Pat Yasinskas is suggesting. Yasinskas thinks that Freeman is not only their future, but quite possibly the present as well.
