Bucs Close To Inking Second Round Pick Da’Quan Bowers

by Roland Johnson on July 27, 2011

With general manager Mark Dominik having already locked up Adrian Clayborn in the early morning hours, he has turned his attention to former Clemson product and the teams’ second-round pick in this past Aprils draft, as the team is close to signing Da’Quan Bowers reports Scott Purks, of CBSSports.com. Bowers would be the fourth member of the Bucs 2011 draft class to sign. Leaving only Tennessee TE Luke Stocker, Florida S Ahmad Black, USC RB Allen Bradford and FIU CB Anthony Gaitor unsigned.

The Bucs who are scheduled to open training camp Thursday, at the friendly confines of One Buc Place are no doubt working to ensure all rookies are signed and in camp on time.
