by Roland Johnson on June 25, 2009

In an attempt to better his chances at sticking with the Buccaneers this coming season G/C Sean Mahan has restructured his contract. Charlie Campbell & Scott Reynolds, of PewterReport.com are reporting that Mahan has in fact taken a pay cut from $3 million in base salary he was scheduled to earn as a part of a five year deal he signed with the Steelers as a free agent in 2007 to $1.6 million in 2009. Mahan, 29, will have the chance to earn the balance in playing time incentives.
