Arrington gets carted off the field

With two players figuring to play prominent roles this coming fall still M.I.A. this off-season in middle linebacker Barrett Ruud & left tackle Donald Penn amidst contract disputes Rod Wilson and James Lee have been getting plenty of action with the first teams.

CB Kyle Arrington was carted off the field when he went airborne, in an attempt to breakup as a deep pass thrown by rookie Josh Freeman to receiver Pat Carter, both men seemed to get intertwined and came down awkwardly with Arrington twisting his knee. From all accounts it seemed minor in nature as Arrington was able to walk to the training room on his on accord after being driven close to the entrance.

Byron Leftwich, was held out of practice with a slight groin strain,

Leftwich said it was a coaches decision to hold him out. With Leftwich being held out for precautionary measures Josh Freeman was getting the bulk of the second team reps.

Two more rookies are close to inking deals, DE Kyle Moore & CB E.J Biggers who are both represented by agent Drew Drew Rosenhaus are believed to be on the cousp and according to general manager Mark Dominik who said today there’s been earlier movement then usual this year on later-round picks while giving the indication the Bucs could have more deals in place by the end of next week.

Michael Clayton eyes fresh start, when has he not, after bursting onto the scene as a rookie, Clayton has done little other then become a glorified blocking tight end downfield, while he is eyeing a fresh start he might want to get plenty of work with the juggs machine this season to cure what alies his stone hands.
