Bucs Penn Agree On Terms Of Contract Extension

Often criticized starting left tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Donald Penn and his agent, Rocky Arcineaux  have agreed on the parameters of a long-term contract extension, according to Jason La Canfora of NFL.com citing a league source Friday.

Penn who has voiced his displeasure over the lack of a long term lucrative contract extension, the past two off seasons is en route to Tampa and will meet with general manager Mark Dominik and other Buc officials Saturday to sign the deal in time to take part in the teams first practice.

Even though rookie defensive tackle Gerald McCoy is on his way to Tampa. The team is not expecting him to be at training camp when the rest of his teammates take to the practice fields at One Buc Place Saturday morning. As no deal is imminent.

Veteran cornerback Aqib Talib who’s looking for a fresh start alluded to attitude in training camp speaking volumes heading into week one. While being fond of the fact, that the playing calling under Raheem Morris was a lot better then under Jim Bates man press coverage.
