Bucs Resign Davin Joseph & Jeremy Trueblood

by Roland Johnson on July 28, 2011

JP Peterson, of 1010am CBS Sports Radio is reporting the Bucs have agreed in principle with G Davin Joseph and T Jeremy Trueblood. Both Joseph and Trueblood meet with Mark Dominik, Raheem Morris, new offensive line coach Pat Morris, offensive coordinator Greg Olson and quarterback Josh Freeman last night, at a swanky downtown Tampa restaurant.

We will have more on this throughout the evening and later into the night as more details become available. Our initial reaction is that providing Freeman with chemistry, continuity and depth up front was the teams top priority heading into free agency, especially considering only one lineman played in all sixteen games last year.

Update: According to Davin Joseph, via his twitter account “It’s Official” and based on reports that are beginning to surface Joseph signed for $53-million with $19-million guaranteed, over seven years. Trueblood is said to have resigned for 2-years.
