The Bucs’ 0-5 start has been marked by miscues, including a number of dropped passes by the receiving corps, namely by sixth year receiver Michael Clayton who is credited with five drops according to Stats Inc. who tracks stats for the NFL, with the Bucs looking to add pieces to help whom ever will be the starter the remainder of the season the team is scheduled to workout former first round pick and ex-Jaguar Matt Jones Tuesday morning at One Buc Place according to Chris Mortensen, of ESPN.com.
The 6-foot-6, 228-pounds Jones caught 65 passes for the Jaguars in 2008, before being released in the off-season due to off the field issues.
Could this be a sign of things to come, could the Bucs be actively shopping underachieving receiver Michael Clayton after his most recent comments alienated the fan base.

The Bucs claimed defensive end Michael Bennett of waivers from Seattle. Bennett was undrafted and made the Seahawks team after an impressive pre-season in which the former Texas A&M Aggie recorded nine tackles, five quarterback hurries, two sacks, deflected a pass and recovered a fumble. To make room on the 53-man roster the Bucs released undrafted free agent guard Marc Dile.
Center Jeff Faine who has missed four straight games due to a torn triceps he suffered in the season opener against the Cowboys, is set to make his return against the Panthers this coming week.
