likely Williams will be placed on the PUP(Physically Unable to Preform) list. Since the team will have to designed Williams on the PUP list the first day of training camp and the team has no practices schedule until then, it is more then likely not a single fan will get the chance to see Williams in training camp in 09′.

RB Cadillac Williams is recovering from his second torn patellar tendon in as many seasons. But unlike last year, when he tore the patellar tendon in his left knee, the tendon did not rupture. Instead, it tore away from the bone, making the prognosis for a full recovery much shorter. There’s a chance Williams might be cleared to practice sometime in the preseason, but most likely he will begin the year again on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

While there might be a slight chance he is ready to go at the start of training camp. The debate that raged last season will presit this coming season as to what should be done with the broken down Cadillac. With the signing of Derrick Ward this off-season and expanding the role of Clifton Smith this fanatic feels it is best to let him ahve the year off and the chance to truly get back too 100% before deciding on the future of Williams.
