Buccaneer and current radio host, Scot Brantley who missed out on his senior season at the University of Florida because of  a concussion.

Brantley was ultimately choosen by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the thrid round of the 1980 draft, he spent eight seasons in the NFL all with the Bucs. The 6’1 230 pound Brantley started 71 games out of the 114 he played in. He finished his career with 622 tackles, 5 sacks, 8 interceptions, 39 passes defensed.

However, Brantley is now infamous for aledgedly punching WDAE The Sports Animal’s afternoon radio Host Steve ” The Big Dog” Duemig in the face over a disagreement.
