With the epic saga of Albert Haynesworth and where he will ultimately land along with what team was willing to back a brinks truck up and freely allow him to fleece their franchise finally over. With the Synder lead Redskins winning out in the end with a 7 year $100 million contract that could grow up to $115 million based on incentives.

Reports are, the Seahawks are targeting receiver Michael Clayton.

Giants beat writer Mike Garafalo, is reporting the Bucs are in the running to land RB Derrick Ward, based on old information from the combine, Garafalo, states the Bucs are willing to give Ward $8 million in guaranteed money over four years with a total contract in the range of $15 million.

The problem is adding a 29 year old running back, after the release of five veterans on Wednesday, just doesn’t jive with the teams new philosophy of trying to get younger players more involved.

The Rams are in the hunt for CB Phillip Buchanon, ex-Bucs senior assistant Kevin Demoff is working feverishly to schedule Buchanon for a visit.

Profootballtalk.com, is reporting ex-Lion and Bear running back Kevin Jones is on the Bucs radar.

The Bucs are working on getting a visit lined up with LB Jonathan Vilma, according to the St. Pete Times.

The Tampa Tribune is reporting the Bucs are in the mix for free agent receiver  T.J. Houshmandzadeh.

The Nashville Tennessean is reporting the Titans are expected to pursue free agent DT Jovan Haye.
