I’m Back! Bucs News & Notes

by Staff Report on March 18, 2010

After taking a brief hiatus from blogging to handle my real job requirements, which had me traveling throughout the vast desert in Iraq. I’m finally back from remote locations and in the friendly confines of what so many American service men and women have called home since 2003. With both feet planted firmly within a safe zone. Its time to crank up the sometimes not so reliable internet connection and get in tune with the latest happenings surrounding every readers beloved team.

The team, after supposedly not being interested in free agency has signed former Oakland Raider linebacker Jon Alston to compete as a backup weak side linebacker and special team’s ace.

After weighing his options between Tennessee and Tampa strong safety Sean Jones decided he liked playing more then winning. Jones reportedly signed a two year deal that will have him competing with incumbent Sabby Piscitelli at strong safety.

The Bucs officially received 7th-rounder for Luke McCown.

Disgruntled middle linebacker Barrett Ruud has decided to attend this years OTA’s.

The Glazer family has enlisted the help of former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer to help them choose a new director of communications.
