Jagodzinski promises an improved ground game

by Roland Johnson on July 20, 2009

New Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski promises that the running game will be successful in 2009, a unit that has never ranked higher then 11th  since 2002 with a seven year overall league average of 21st. The Bucs three highest ranking years in rushing yards since 2002 has been 11th in 2007, 14th in 2005 and 15th in 2008. According to him it is one of his strong suits, that is, his knowledge of the running game.

Couple that with his extensive back-round in the new zone blocking scheme and he believes that the offensive line is the strength of the team and the true catalyst heading into the season opener September 13, against the Dallas Cowboys in front of thousands in Raymond James Stadium and millions viewing around the world.
