Mann Being Pursued By Redskins

Updating a previous report on Tampa Bay Buccaneers receivers coach Richard Mann and the Bucs willingness to allow Mann to interview with other teams. Brad Briggs, of the National Football Post is reporting  that per a league source. Mann will met with recently hired Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan. Mann has spent the last eighth season coaching Tampa Bay’s wide receivers.

Mann in his 30 years of coaching experience at the collegiate and professional levels, has coached some of the game’s top receivers, including Tim Brown, Antonio Bryant, Mark Clayton, Joey Galloway, Ike Hilliard, Keyshawn Johnson, Keenan McCardell, Rob Moore, Andre Rison, Webster Slaughter and Pro Football Hall of Fame TE Ozzie Newsome.


Kick returner Clifton Smith won Bucs’ ’09 Man of the Year for his work on and off the field.
