reports that the team is actively shopping one of three veteran quarterbacks on the roster. While he did his best Bruce Allen impersonation by effectively sliding around the question and deflecting it as just part of the NFL.

The most interesting thing of note, is that should both quarterbacks play evenly, don’t look for a starter to be named in the proceeding days after Thursdays game. Morris is playing coy with the media and isn’t ready to tip his hand as to who the starter will eventually be lining up under center in week one against the Dallas Cowboys.

This has all the makings, that they are indeed actively shopping either Byron Leftwich or Luke McCown and are trying to get above average value for what many feel is below average goods at this point.

I have heard rumors that McCown or Leftwich will be offered with a mid round pick for Brandon Marshall, but I agree with you that our secondary could really use some reinforcements. This is certainly exciting stuff. I can’t remember the last time I was so excited for a season to officially begin.

With Kyle Orton struggling and Chris Simms out for about to and quite possibly over a month. The Broncos good be looking for a QB and trying to get rid of a headache to boot.

Lot of excitement brewing around the 09′ season that is for sure, if for nothing else the uncertainty of how things are going to pan out for the Bucs this season.
