Olson Won’t Pull Double Duty in 2010

by Staff Report on January 20, 2010

Mounting speculation was that current Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Greg Olson would once again, be pulling double duty in 2010 as both the teams offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. But that just wont be the case according to the Pewter Report Staff who caught up with head coach Raheem Morris at East West Shrine practices in Orlando this morning.

Morris wants Olson to concentrate exclusively on installing and implementing his game plan while calling plays, along with a separate QB coach working with Josh Freeman in the upcoming season.

It should also be noted that demoted defensive coordinator Jim Bates is no longer with the Bucs in any capacity and receivers coach Richard Mann is officially gone.
