Preseason Dates & Times Announced

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced their finalized schedule for the 2010 preseason. The Bucs kick off their 34th preseason schedule on the road as they continue their longest-running preseason series with the Miami Dolphins on Saturday, August 14 at 7 p.m. The following week on Saturday, August 21 at 7:30 p.m., the Buccaneers will open their home slate against the Kansas City Chiefs, who they haven’t faced in the preseason since a 37-14 win on August 25, 2000. Tampa Bay will conclude their home exhibition schedule against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday, August 28 at 7:30 p.m. which marks the ninth straight year the two teams have met in the preseason. For the ninth consecutive preseason, the Buccaneers conclude their exhibition schedule against the Houston Texans. The Buccaneers, who will travel to Houston for this year’s meeting on Thursday, September 2 at 8 p.m., lead the all-time series 6-2.

News Channel 8 WFLA-TV is the official home of Buccaneers preseason football, and will produce all four preseason games in 2010: at Miami, against Kansas City, against Jacksonville and at Houston.  This preseason will also mark the sixth year that WFLA-TV will broadcast the games in High Definition.
