Rookie DT Price On Fire

by Staff Report on August 1, 2010

It’s only been two practices in full pads, but one player who has taken the Bay Area by storm has been second round pick, defensive tackle Brian Price. Price has truly stolen the show through two days of training camp practices showing off his cat like quickness, nonstop motor and strength against all comers.  His penetrating prowess has been on center stage as he’s reeked havoc in the offensive backfield getting pressure and blowing up would be running plays.

It’s been stated that Bucs first round pick Gerald McCoy reminds many of ex-Buc Warren Sapp. But after this weekend, Price is more like Sapp from both a physical presence and ability standpoint then McCoy at this point. I still caution fans to temper their expectations, as its only been two days of practice.
