The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have claimed S De’von Hall off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts. In addition, the team signed FB Jehuu Caulcrick to the practice squad.
Hall, 22, is 6-foot-3, 212-pounds ran the forty in 4.48 seconds and did 26 reps of 225. As a senior he posted 72 tackles, 7 pass breakups and 4 interceptions. Hall has played in four career games, all with the Colts this season, and totaled one tackle on defense and two special teams stops.
Caulcrick entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Jets in 2008 out of Michigan State and spent time on New York’s practice squad in 2008 and 2009. Caulcrick, 26, 6-foot, 254-pounds was a lead blocker for Javon Ringer while starting for the Spartans. A native of Liberia, Caulcrick found the endzone 21 times as a senior and totaled 39 career rushing touchdowns, which is the second best total in Michigan State history. He is a short yardage goal line back who rushed for 2,395 yards on 532 attempts for an average of 4.5 yards per carry.
