Tight end Kellen Winslow responds to critics after missing OTA’s, Winslow

sighted not only was head coach Raheem Morris aware he would miss the first five weeks of OTA’s, but the Glazer family also knew.

“Fans are going to have opinions, but if you know me, you now I’m working my butt off,” Winslow said. “I live in San Diego. I want to be there and I will be there.” Source: St.PeteTimes.com

As mentioned previously here, if the team was not concerned about Winslow not being in attendance, then why should we, the fans be up in arms over his lack of participation in OTA’s. It now seems that it was hashed out before he was given the contract extension.

As far as the Sapp issue goes, it seems that Winslow wanted to clear the air as he called Sapp to explain the situation, and according to Winslow, Sapp apologized as Winslow puts it “They talked it out”.
