During redzone period WR Sammie Stroughter had two great TD catches from Freeman.
WR Dezmon Briscoe, lying on his back in the endzone with one arm hooked by a defender, made a ridiculous 1-handed catch. Briscoe showed why Dominik paid him like a member of the 53-man roster, even though he was on the practice squad last season.
LB Dekoda Watson, playing in place of Quincy Black, due to the rules governing free agents picked off Freeman on a pass intended for Ryan Purvis – raced down the sidelines for a pick 6.
On a flea flicker, LeGarrette Blount took the handoff wheeled around flipped the ball back to Freeman who on corked a bomb to Briscoe, who hauled the pass in for a score. The ball hung in the air, but it’s evident that Cody Grimm who was is coverage is not 100% yet, from his broken leg as he just doesn’t have his speed to recover or keep up with receivers yet.
Not a good sign, DT Brian Price came up limping during 11-on-11 session, on the flea flicker. Don’t like to see any player come up lame, especially a player who is trying to come back from a serious injury from the previous season.

Don’t look for the Bucs to rush to sign former first round pick and free agent Carnell Williams anytime soon. Even though his representatives have been in contact with team officials’, the Bucs want to see what RB Kregg Lumpkin can do having been in the system for a year
Third year quarterback Josh Freeman even though he had an interception or two today still looks very sharp. A reoccurring theme early on has been Freeman’s propensity to thread the needle through the first three days of camp.
