Dungy shoots down speculation he could return

With Joebucsfans.com breaking news that Chris Myers dropped an absolute bombshell of a ramble about the team, in which they might have possibly approached ex-Buccaneer head coach Tony Dungy for some type of consulting role with the team. Tony Dungy responded to the speculation by texting Rick Stroud, of the St. Petersburg Times telling Stroud that there’s “No truth at all, I’ve not had any contact with them.”‘

Now Dungy, did not absolutely debunk the notion, that he would not return, but rather left the door open and did not go into any details of whether or not he would even consider a consulting role for a team that fired him in the middle of a rain storm, I am sure some fans remember the somber moment of Dungy carrying out a box, through the rain that had a few personal belongings in it. After news broke that the Glazer axed one of the main people responsible for the teams woeful turn around from perennial doormats to a respected club in the mid to late nineties.

I ask you the fans, would you welcome Dungy back as a consultant similar to the role Bill Parcells currently plays with the Dolphins?
