The initial prognosis for when center Jeff Faine would return was generalized as “several weeks” after he suffered a torn quadriceps muscle in his right leg against the Bengals, in the second quarter of a Bucs 24-21 come from behind win. Well finally, the actual length for his recovery timetable has been revealed as 4-6 weeks. The injury will not require surgery though.

Second year defensive tackle Roy Miller evaluated his best self, after Cedric Benson gashed the Bucs defense for over 140-yards. After reviewing film, Miller was thoroughly disgusted with the mistakes he made in run defense.

Mike Williams who was selected after 27 other receivers had come off the board in this past Aprils draft. Leads all rookie receivers in touchdowns (3), receptions (19), and yards (238).

The Saints game will mark the third consecutive home game that has been blacked out locally on television in 2010.

Josh Freeman became the first Buccaneer quarterback to win NFC Offensive Player of the Week since Brad Johnson won the award in 2003. Freeman led the Bucs to 10 points in the final two-minutes to give the Bucs their third win of the season.

Saints head coach Sean Payton thinks Freeman’s personality is conducive to winning – the Bucs are showing a lot of attitude on film.
