show for today’s workout. However there now seems to be differing reports on the real reason Winslow has been absent from the off-season conditioning and install periods. It has been reported by numerous media outlets that Winslow was still in the process of moving, but now Winslow told reporters he was attending to personnel family matters. In any case it is a good sign that he kept good on his word and arrived to continue to build a bond with his teammates.
“I just had some family issues I needed to deal with, some personal issues,” said Winslow. “The team understood. I talked to Coach Morris and the G.M. and I had an excuse, and they excused me. I thank them for that.”
“[OTAs] are very important,” said Winslow. “They are voluntary, but they’re really not voluntary. You do need to be here, and I wish I could have been here. I just couldn’t.” Source: PewterReport.com
